Ternopil oblast: in the field of developing the concept of creating a network of business incubators
24 February a meeting of the working group regarding the establishment and operation of a network of business incubators in the region. According to the development Strategy of small and medium enterprises in Ternopil region for 2016-2020 one of the main tasks set by the Strategy is development of infrastructure of support of small and medium enterprises in Ternopil region. So, according to the instructions of the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration the working group given the task to develop a concept of creation and operation of a network of business incubators in the region. The working group included representatives of the Department of economic development and trade of the regional state administration, center of employment, public and business associations and the USAID Programme "Leadership in economic Radovan". Working group is headed by Deputy Chairman-chief of staff of the Ternopil regional state administration Igor Vons. During the meeting the participants exchanged experience in this area and discussed issues concerning the functions that must fulfill a business incubator. For Ternopil region is an extremely important and topical issue is the development of infrastructure of support of small and medium business, because an effective infrastructure of business support are virtually absent in the region”, - said the Director of the Department of economic development and trade, Galina Volanic. Following the meeting, the participants decided to combine all possible available resources of government, business and scientists, with the aim of creating more effective models of the business incubator.
