Transcarpathian regional judicial forum "Council of Europe Standards: the new powers of the judiciary of Ukraine"
the Association of lawyers of Ukraine and Association of development of judicial authorities of Ukraine and the project of the Council of Europe "support to the implementation of the judicial reform in Ukraine" invite You to participate in the Transcarpathian judicial forum "New powers of judicial bodies of Ukraine in the context of judicial reform", which will take place on 6 March 2017. The forum aims to discuss new powers of judicial bodies of Ukraine, their compliance with the standards of the Council of Europe, cooperation of judicial institutions among themselves and with other state authorities and civil society. An important goal of the event is to discuss ways to improve the authority of the judicial branch of power in Ukraine and exchanged views on ways of ensuring effective interaction between judicial institutions and between them. In close cooperation with the members of the High Council of justice, High qualifications Commission of judges of Ukraine, members of the Council of judges of Ukraine and project experts of the Council of Europe "support to the implementation of the judicial reform in Ukraine" will discuss, in particular, the theme of guaranteeing the independence of judges, the functional immunity of judges, the role of the public in ensuring the independence of judges and so on.
