March 10, continued its work IV all-Ukrainian forum of local development institutions. In the framework of the third plenary session "the Role of development institutions in promoting economic growth areas", Director of Department of international cooperation and regional development regional state administration Volodymyr Merezhko presented the experience of the Vinnytsia region in the implementation of projects and development programs. Welcoming participants of the meeting, the official informed that Vinnytsia region is a region with wide possibilities for business, open for innovation and investment where a partnership between government, the community and business to create a positive investment climate. In particular, at the end of 2016, the region took the second place among regions of Ukraine the number of newly established enterprises. He also noted that in the industrial sector of the region in 2016 implemented 22 investment projects for the total value of 665 million UAH. that gave the opportunity to create 510 new jobs. This includes projects on alternative energy, where Vinnitsa region occupies the first position among the regions of Ukraine. At the same time, the head of the Department noted that as a result of implementation of investment projects in 2017, we plan to create 2100 new jobs. "To attract investors to increase production capacity in the region initiated transparent competitions for best investment projects in the field of alternative energy sources and the leasing of small plots of land for small business. Separate direction of development of the region is attracting funds from the State regional development Fund. In 2016, the amount of such aid amounted to 292,3 million UAH. In 2017 this figure will be 173,0 million UAH." - said Volodymyr Merezhko. The head of Department told about cooperation of the regional state administration with a number of foundations and grant agencies, areas of work of the Agency for regional development Vinnytsia region and functioning of the Regional Fund of environmental protection.
