19 March Municipal Galician chamber orchestra celebrated its 25th anniversary. On the occasion, the musicians have prepared a musical evening, during which for the students was playing favorite classical and popular works, song, jazz and rock music. The mayor Sergey Nadal congratulated the staff on the jubilee and wished them creative inspiration, interesting creative projects, relentless forward motion, and God's Blessings. “For 25 years the orchestra has given over two thousand concerts in Ternopil and region, and for official foreign delegations, played concerts in Germany, France, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia. I am proud that our Galician orchestra has become not only a real symbol of Ternopil, and is considered one of the best orchestras of Ukraine and occupies a worthy place in the Symphony of life in the country and the world», - said the head of Ternopil. The mayor also thanked the Director, conductor and mentor of the orchestra – people's artist of Ukraine Vasyl Filename for his work for the good of the orchestra and the entire city.
