Region took place the constituent Assembly of the Public Council under the regional state administration concerning the election of new members (photo)
Yesterday, March 29, in the premises of the regional state administration was held a General meeting of members of the Public Council approving the new composition of the Public Council, which will work over the next 2 years. Recall that the Public Council is an Advisory body under the Vinnytsia regional state administration, which brings together representatives of the most active and effective civil society institutions in Vinnytsia region, and aims at the solution of topical issues of regional and state policy. The meeting participants summed up the activities in 2015-2016 and identified topical areas about their work in 2017. Note that in 2015-2016, the Public Council has focused its activities in 3 main directions, in particular those relating to areas of health and education, as well as the national-Patriotic education of the younger generation of Ukrainians. In 2016, with the assistance of the Public Council introduced and implemented a number of regional programs, including the regional target program of work with talented youth, a program of development of international and interregional cooperation, integrated law enforcement program, the regional programme of construction (purchase) of affordable housing in Vinnytsya region and many other not less important projects. After the constituent Assembly elected the new composition of the Public Council in the amount of 35 members and approved the regulations on Public Council under the state administration on the basis of which to perform its activities. Also was determined the date of the first meeting of the newly elected Public Council – April 10, 2017. No doubt that the Public Council at the regional state administration was established mechanism for considering public opinion in the formation and implementation of regional and state policy in General, and along with the Executive authorities, the joint solution of urgent problems of social development of the region.
