One of the main water artery of Ukraine – the Dniester river flows through the territory of Ternopil region. It is the pride of the region, because the active recreation is well known for exciting rafting on the Dniester. Both banks of the Dniester quite restricted, and it does not contribute to the tourist attractiveness. Ecological action "clean Dniester" was held at the initiative of the Ternopil regional administration. During the two-month improvement management team of the regional administration were on the banks of the river in Zalishchyky district. So first you need to free the banks of this beautiful river, the shoreline of which is in the Ternopil region is 200 km, from dirt and debris. He also said that he had urged to join the campaign "For a clean Dniester" not only to the public of the region, as well as to the heads of Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, and Khmelnytsky regional state administrations. "It would be good that all together we put in order the curb of the Dniester river on all sides. I think that it will be the best contribution to the region to make a cleaner, more attractive and Dniester", - said Stepan Barna. Action "For a clean Dniester" lasted from 24 March, it took part in the districts of Ternopil, through which flows the river.
