The sentence of Uzhgorod city district court convicted the man who transported in Transcarpathia more than 20.5 thousand liters of alcohol. He was sentenced to a fine in the amount of 1000 tax-free minimum of citizens, and illegally manufactured alcohol and the vehicle with trailer confiscated in the state income. As the head of the Department of supervision over observance of laws by bodies of the fiscal service of the Prosecutor of the Transcarpathian region Artem Ivanov, who personally supported the state prosecution in criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 204 of the criminal code of Ukraine (illegal production, storage, sale or transportation with a sales objective of illegally manufactured alcoholic beverages or other excisable goods), the Prosecutor's office in Transcarpathian region continues to expose the illegal sale of counterfeit alcoholic products on the territory of Transcarpathian region. In particular, it was found that a man using a truck with a trailer, transported from Odessa region with the purpose of sale on the territory of Transcarpathian region 100 plastic drums with a capacity of about 200 liters each, which contained liquid with a characteristic smell of alcohol in the total number 20500 liters. To prevent the spread of the surrogate throughout the area by employees of Prosecutor's office of area together with employees of PG DFS in the Transcarpathian region indicated the illegal activity was stopped.
