It should be noted that the European Bank for reconstruction and development, whose shareholders are 65 countries and two intergovernmental institutions, supports the development of market economy and democracy. In addition, grant support to small and medium businesses in Ukraine, the EBRD has been since 2010. Under the grant support of the EBRD helps small and medium-sized enterprises to attract highly qualified local consultants and international experts-practitioners, are able to qualitatively transform their business and provides grants for the partial reimbursement of consultancy fees. "World practice shows that small and medium businesses – the Foundation of economic development in any region, the basis of formation of local budgets, employment and the formation of the gross national product. Support for small and medium business is of critical importance. Grants of the European Bank for reconstruction and development is the mechanism of irrecoverable financial aid, which effectively operating in Ukraine in 2010", – said Andrey Geico. Noteworthy also is the fact that during its activity in Ukraine, the EBRD provided grant support to more than 722 small and medium-sized domestic enterprises worth over ˆ 15.7 million. This funding is provided by the structures of the European Union, the governments of the U.S. and Sweden. "In Vinnitsa region is planned to create the center of support of business Initiative EU4Business. All of these centres of business support it is planned to create 15 different regions of Ukraine. I note that in 2016 in the framework of this initiative an agreement was signed between the European Union and the European Bank for reconstruction and development on allocation of ˆ 28 million for Advisory, informational, educational and other support to small and medium business in Ukraine", – said the head of the business support Center in Vinnytsia region, and the organizer of this event Hope Lisiecka. It is noted that in addition to creating a business support center in Vinnytsia region, which is the information partner of the EBRD in the framework of the Initiative EU4Business provides for the financing of small and medium enterprises in the region by the EBRD in the amount of 12 million euros.
