Informing about the situation in the region, Valery Cow, in particular, noted that from April 1 the corresponding program is started in all 27 districts and 6 cities of regional importance.. "Have 970 thousand people in three specific categories of patients. Entered into agreements for the supply of medicines is 270 pharmacies. Funds which have received 20.5 million UAH is transferred to the primary health-care services. The programme has already issued 15 550 recipes," - said the head of RSA. Therefore stressed that the practice population is perceived very positively. During the meeting Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said that there are all the necessary regulatory framework and appropriate funds to people who require continuous treatment to provide the necessary drugs. "I want to remind you that this applies to three diseases: asthma, diabetes mellitus type II and hypertension, – said the Head of Government. – We have the appalling figures: two thirds of Ukrainians die from cardiovascular diseases. This is unacceptable. Therefore, we will develop including a network of cardiac centres throughout the country to provide people the necessary assistance. But drugs, their availability, and are extremely important". Volodymyr Groysman emphasized the need to strengthen information work among the population on the implementation of the programme of reimbursement of medicines. Therefore, assured that, if necessary, the amount of funds for its implementation will be increased. "We have 500 million on this program, and if you need to add the resource, we find another means.
