The Prosecutor's office needs to urgently issue the right of permanent use 7900 ha of land of the border strip of the State border service of Ukraine and the court found this claim on April 19 of the Transcarpathian district administrative declared lawful
19 APR Transcarpathian district administrative recognized lawful the requirement of the Prosecutor of the Transcarpathian region regarding the adoption of measures for the immediate registration of the right of permanent use Capsicum border detachment of the Western regional administration of State border service of Ukraine land border strip with an area of 7900 hectares and cost more than 230 million UAH. It should be noted that according to the requirements of article 3 of the Law of Ukraine «On the use of lands of defense”, along the state border of Ukraine, the law establishes a border strip, within which a special regime of land use. Land within the border strip and other lands necessary for setting up and maintenance of engineering structures and obstacles, border signs, border the glades, communications and other'objects that are in permanent use of military units of the State border service of Ukraine. As noted by the head of Department for representation in court of Prosecutor's office of area Andrey Marinich, the lack of documentary evidence of the rights of the state border service units of the areas mentioned land plots of lands of defense was the cause of systematic and daring attempts to illegally reclaim land border strip, which can illegal be used for the implementation of the violations floor’connected with smuggling, illegal migration and the like. However, such cases have taken place and acquired massive public outcry and was widely covered by the media. So, the prosecution is biased distribution of land in the border strip for individual housing construction by officials of Uzhgorod city Council near the checkpoint «Uzhgorod" on the border with the Slovak Republic. From illegal possession returned 55 hectares on the territory of Beregovo district and in the area of Mukachevo border detachment.
