Zhytomyr regional state administration receives from the authors of the projects for socially important issue of books
Zhytomyr regional state administration accepts applications for the release of socially significant literature by local authors for means of the regional budget. In order to submit a book project, the author must complete the letter of application, to which is attached an electronic and a printed version edited and typeset works and reviews of it. Don't accept suggestions on the issue of the official, normative-practical advertising pieces, textbooks, and editions and multivolume editions. On the basis of the documents received from the authors, formed a draft list of socially important literature by local authors, which considers the Advisory Council. The meeting also invited the authors of the book-publishing projects, which present their projects, justify their social significance. On the basis of criteria of social value the Council selects the books to be printed for means of the regional budget. Contracts for printing of books will be printing enterprises according to the law of Ukraine "On public procurement". Before the production of books, the Council approves advance copies of publications. After printing of books by local authors are distributed free of charge in the library pane. Projects from local authors are accepted by the Department of information activities and public relations of Zhytomyr regional state administration until June 9, 2017 at the following address: 10014, Zhitomir, independence to them. Background: the Mechanism of the selection of socially important literature by local authors developed on the basis of current legislation of Ukraine, namely laws of Ukraine "On publishing", "On copyright and related rights", "On state support of publishing business in Ukraine", "On mandatory copy of documents", "On public procurement", as well as state standards of Ukraine.
