In the Ternopil region will be held all-Ukrainian pilgrimage of the families of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes
For three days, from 19 to 21 may in Ternopil region will be about 150 members of the families of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes from all over Ukraine. Mothers, fathers - in fact those same native people, who from childhood instilled in their children love for Ukraine! This action has a symbolic name "all-Ukrainian pilgrimage of the families of Heroes of Heavenly one Hundred". The initiators of the event were the public organization of the families of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes and Ternopil regional state administration. "It is important to remember the deeds of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes because they forever changed our history and shook not only Ukraine but the whole world. These people gave their lives, defending the rights of the Ukrainian people, seeking justice and a better future for our country based on true European values. We need to honour the Heavenly Hundred Heroes who have become example of courage, dedication and indomitable spirit," - says Deputy Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Yuriy Eureka. As the head of the Department of internal policy, religions and nationalities regional state administration Igor Kulchytsky, during his stay in the region close to our Heroes, pray for the souls of their relatives in Mari spiritual center in the village of Zarvanytsya of Terebovlya district. Also, the pilgrims will visit the Museum of Patriarch Josyf Slipyj in the village Envy, visit Zbarazh castle and the town of Buchach. The families of the victims on the Maidan will lay flowers to the monument to Heavenly Hundred Heroes in Ternopil will take part in activities to celebrate the Day of Heroes and honoring the memory of victims of political repression.
