"Our goal is to make competitive environment, to provide the region with highly qualified personnel and to do everything to ensure that Ukraine and, in particular, in Ternopil region opened a high-tech enterprise, it can be branches of foreign missions. We are interested that the area was not only a raw materials appendage, and to build a plant for the processing of raw materials to create value-added, and people have work", – said Stepan Barna. However, the head of the region noted that in 2016 the total amount of capital investment in the real sector of the economy amounted to 4 billion 700 million UAH. This year, it is expected that this amount will be even greater. However, he added that in the Ternopil region will start the next wave of recruitment of young people to public service. "We are ready to recruit more than a hundred people with knowledge of foreign languages in state authorities at all levels from regional administrations to the regional administration. That is why the priority in the work of the regional state administration are young people, graduates of our universities who are willing to work for the prestige of Ukraine in Europe and the world", – said Stepan Barna.
