Proposed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine the draft pension reform provides for the restoration of social justice and allows to overcome the shadow employment. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman. He stressed that the current situation in the pension system is close to catastrophic, and inaction will only lead to deterioration. The problem, according to Vladimir Groisman, is not just that the discipline of payment of the single social contribution is a key source of filling the budget of the Pension Fund is quite low, but that the experience of people who retire usually insufficient. Meanwhile, the imbalances in the employment history determines the situation when a person who has 35 years of experience, receive the same minimum pension as the people, worked much less, or not working at all. "We must set justice. If I work 35 years and faithfully pay my taxes, I should get a decent pension," - said the head of the Government and added that a bona fide payment of contributions will work for the benefit of the struggle with salaries in envelopes. "And the new system is the way to fight the shadow rate and method to overcome the deficit of the Pension Fund, - said the Prime Minister. - We are for 7-10 years reduce the budget deficit of the Pension Fund and get it (the deficit) to zero and people will get a decent payout".
