Oleg Shafts stressed that Chertkov is making strides towards energy efficiency, ranking second in the region in the number of warm providing loans. "Ukraine was not ready as a state to enter into the process of energy efficiency in 2014 and become independent from someone. the question of independence is one of the most important for state security and in this regard, in the Ternopil region there are many events held in this direction", - said Oleg Shafts. He stressed that the implementation of energy efficiency measures help save money, which in turn can be spent on infrastructure development, including on repair of roads. "When are the energy efficiency measures, more money remains in the local budget. Every penny invested in energy efficiency yields new jobs, which in turn give income to the local budget. Additional resource savings are also household waste, which are used irrationally. One can draw energy and send energy efficiency measures for the community," - said Oleg Shafts. Also Deputy Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration noted that the financial support for projects on energy efficiency provides both the government and donor organizations. In particular, according to him, the State regional development Fund, which supports projects submitted by the regions, energy efficiency is one of the leading places. "For example, last year the Ternopil region received from the FRR of about 93 million hryvnia. Approximately 36% of these funds were directed at measures that help save energy and are more efficient to use it. This year for the Ternopil region provided 115 million, and among the presented projects there are plenty of those that provide for the implementation of energy efficiency measures. So, have good support and challenge – the right to use it. In the districts and communities should take this responsibility. Including must pay attention to the culture of consumption," said Oleg Shafts.
