Initiated criminal proceedings on the fact of Commission of crime by officials of Rivne customs
the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region initiated pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings upon abuse of official position by officials of Rivne customs of State fiscal service of Ukraine that entailed heavy consequences (a crime under part 2 St. 364 criminal code of Ukraine). The basis of entry in the Unified register of pretrial investigations the information about the criminal offence was the statement of a resident of region from which it is seen, that employees of the Rivne customs carried out with violation of requirements of the legislation of customs clearance for imported from abroad vehicles, causing substantial harm to the public interest in the form of non-significant amounts in the budget. Investigators will check the legality of actions of employees of law enforcement body and on the results of the comprehensive, full and impartial investigation of all the circumstances of the case will be a procedural decision in the criminal proceedings.
