Ternopil swimmers brought home 17 medals Dnepr
Young swimmers Ternopil recently returned from the International swimming tournament "Meteor Open-2017", which lasted for three days in the Palace of water sports "meteor" in the river. The competition was held among boys and girls 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 birth years and younger. The tournament was attended by over 500 athletes from Belarus, Turkey, and the strongest swimmers from different parts of Ukraine. Ternopil the team presented the pupils of KDYUSSH No. 1 and KDYUSSH No. 2, which won in total 17 awards in various denominations. Among the girls excelled Tarnopolsky Diana Protocolsi and Daria Olender, women of KDYUSSH No. 1, which was repeatedly raised on a pedestal and received awards. Young men from Ternopil – Alexander Stragus (pictured), Abdurahman Saleh, Maxim Potocnak, Sergey Lysobey representatives of KDYUSSH No. 1, and Maxim Latkowski – the pupil of SPORTS school ¹2 was the best among his age group at different distances of the tournament. Especially worth to mention the excellent preparation for competitions and good results Sergey Lisabea (KDYUSSH No. 1) and maxima Lukovskogo (KDYUSSH No. 2), which in their age groups competed for the title of "Super Sprinter" in the "Battle sprint" on the shortest and Davidovici distance of 50 meters freestyle. And only a few hundredths of a second prevented them from becoming the fastest swimmers of the tournament and get the highest rank – the boys took second place among the best swimmers of Ukraine and the representatives of the countries that participated in the tournament. In addition, ternopolyanyn Sergei Lisala first performed the standard candidate master of sports of Ukraine, that is a very good achievement for athletes of his age. In General, as the coach said Catherine Antonishin, the whole team of Ternopil showed that swimming in our city evolves and progresses, the commentator broadcast competitions and outstanding coaches and athletes who commented on the course of the competition, have repeatedly noted our boys and girls, have characterized them as promising and talented swimmers who will definitely enter the elite of Ukrainian swimming. The competition was held under the auspices of swimming Federation of Ukraine. And interestingly, after the tournament was held meeting of participants with the honored master of sports of Ukraine, champion of Europe, repeated champion and the champion of Ukraine in swimming, participant of the Olympic games in London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016 Andrey Govorov (coach Elson Soares Da Silva, Brazil).
