Igor Vons: funds From the Regional development Fund will be used primarily to Finance energy efficiency projects
the first stage for the selection of projects that are funded by the State Regional development Fund. This year the competition takes place in two stages. Only the ad hoc Committee filed 279 projects totaling more than 900 million UAH. As to the indicative amount of funds DRR for 2017 in Ternopil region there will be only 115 million 198 thousand UAH. About this said the Deputy Chairman-chief of staff of the Ternopol regional state administration Igor of Vons in the program "Position" that goes to the "Radio ROKS" every Wednesday at 14:00. According to him, with regard to the selection of projects, the Ministry of regional development was put some priority points. In particular, this year 10% of the total funds should be focused on energy efficiency concerning objects in the fields of medicine and education. Another 10% needs to be focused on projects of sports infrastructure and 10% is provided for the centers of providing administrative services. Thus, among the priorities was also transitional objects that do not have time to complete last year. "Among the important projects that were presented include the construction of a rowing canal. This is a joint project of the regional administration and the city of Ternopil. After all, 60% for this project is provided from the State Fund of Regional development and 40% – from the budget of Ternopil. This project will be promising, because it will have an impact not only in the region but the entire country. In fact, such a sports facility operates only in the Dnieper region. We will have a second. But given the fact that it will be new and modern, given the location of our region, it can be used for training local athletes, and for training the Olympic team, as well as for international competitions," – said Igor Vons. At the same time, he noted that among the important projects that have passed the first stage of selection, reconstruction and thermal insulation of the facade of the first gymnasium in Ternopil. Also focused on supporting schools that need to be not only effective, but also energy-efficient because of savings on energy. Regarding sports facilities, as said Igor, Vons, then in Zbarazh it is planned to build a sports complex for team sports from the spectator stands. And if this project will be popular and will justify itself, these sport complexes will be built in each city.
