Support and adoption of a draft pension reform proposed by the Government, from the President of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will allow to expand the list of jobs and professions with the right to preferential retirement, increase pension payments to more than 1 thousand UAH, and to abolish the taxation of pensions for working pensioners. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, communicating with the staff of one of the largest in Ukraine metallurgical works "Azovstal". The head of Government visited the company in the framework of the working visit to Donetsk region. "Under the (pension) reform, we plan to expand the list. And we agreed with employers, trade unions, signed the agreement after the adoption of the reform lists are extended, and significantly expanded," - said the Prime Minister. He explained that Ukraine has a population of 1 million 200 thousand pensioners "beneficiaries", who receive pensions from 2.5 to 4.5 thousand UAH. And after the modernization of pensions, which is one of the points of the pension reform, payments to these people will grow by more than 1 thousand UAH. The increase of 1 thousand UAH on a permanent basis will receive only 5 million 620 thousand pensioners. Volodymyr Groysman reminded that the upgrade will happen automatically and it will allow you to remove the imbalance between the pensions of those who go to rest early, and those who draws a pension . "The unfairness in pensions is the same: worked 40 years for a pension of 1500 UAH, he worked for 15 years - also 1500 UAH. I have a question: where is social justice? Why people, worked diligently for more than 25 years, has a minimum pension? And 80% of pensioners receive the minimum pension. It is a challenge for everyone! The system is curved, it is necessary to change it", - stressed the Head of Government.
