In the Chernigov city Council awarded the winners of the final stages of all-Ukrainian intellectual competition
for the First time in Chernihiv, the winners of the final stage of the national intellectual competitions this year will receive a scholarship of 500 hryvnia per month. This was announced during the traditional meeting in Chernihiv city Council with the students-winners of all-Russian intellectual, sports competitions, and applicants for awarding gold and silver medals for academic achievement. With high achievements academically talented young students congratulated Chernihiv city Chairman Vladislav Atroshenko, the head of Department of education of the city Council Vasily Bloguri. The meeting was also attended by teachers and Directors of schools of the city. According to Vasily Bloguri for awarding the winners of the invited 47, of which 23 students have won 24 of the diploma of all-Ukrainian level, 22 students were awarded diplomas of i degree of the regional stage of competitions, 2 uchenitsa the winners of the Championship of Ukraine among youth and schools orienteering. The head of Department of education of the city Council Vasily Blogora stressed that the Chernigov has a powerful potential of creative and talented young people and our city have to be proud. Among the awards are: 13 diplomas of all-Ukrainian student Olympiads of the 11 subjects, 7 diplomas of the Ukrainian stage, the MAN in 6 compartments, 4 of the diploma of the literary contest named after Taras Shevchenko and 37 diplomas of the i degree of the regional stage of the Olympiads. In addition, they noted that this year for the first time in the history of Chernihiv, the winners of the final stage of the national intellectual competitions will receive a scholarship of 500 hryvnia per month. And the winners of the III stage (regional) of all-Ukrainian student Olympiads – 300 hryvnia per month. Chernihiv city Chairman Vladislav Atroshenko in his speech said that the city should do everything possible to encourage young students to new achievements. - The city will always be a significant consideration in the educational sphere, because this is our future, - said the mayor. Congratulations also stated that students should appreciate their parents and teachers that have made a significant contribution to their personal and career development. Chernihiv mayor presented the winners with commemorative gifts and certificates for the monthly premiums for the current year. The meeting ended with photographs on the memory.
