social policy Minister Andriy Reva said about the inadmissibility of further existence of the privileged castes in the pension system and explained the importance of using transparent and uniform rules when calculating pensions. "Until recently, pensions were paid for fifteen different laws, so there are different calculations of pensions. For example, a civil servant with 20 years of experience of civil service received a pension of 90% of last earnings, and all other citizens, only 40% of the salary. That is, in the same size and experience the same level of earnings, pensions for individual categories differed by more than twice", – said the Minister. Instead, the bill on the reform of the pension system introduces a fair and transparent rules for determining the amount of pensions for all citizens, without regard to the status and place of work. The amount of pension of each citizen of Ukraine will be calculated according to the formula: The pension size = Sz ? Ikz ? KS Sz – the size of the average wage in Ukraine for 3 years before applying for a pension.
