Ukraine prepares for a heating season 2017/2018: readiness of the region for more than 30%

The main topic of discussion was the preparation of the regions for the heating season 2017/2018. The agenda included the issues of implementation plans for energy efficiency programs and level of preparation for the heating season 2017/2018 social objects (schools, hospitals, kindergartens). "The status of settlements is a perennial problem, – said Vladimir Groisman. – We understand that there are incentives and subsidies – and here I take the responsibility. But there is also the area of your responsibility. I would ask carefully about this work." In turn, the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna noted that in the Ternopil region is quite disciplined users of gas consumed. "We did the analysis and in the context of 2015, the payment percentage was 94%, in 2016 – 78%, and in 2017 in January-may indicators is 110%. In relation to mainstreaming, the structure of debt we have amounts to UAH 231 million. The largest debtor – the municipal enterprise "Ternopolgorteplokommunenergo" in arrears 198 mln. "Ternopolgorteplokommunenergo" debt – almost 14 million. As for the status of your installation and equipping with heat meters, on the "Ternopolgorteplokommunenergo" state security is 2.3%, which is 17 units. In the field of ensuring heat meters – 100%, and it's a great indicator," – said the head of the field. However, he added that in the Ternopil region, since April, began preparations for the autumn-winter period 2017-2018. And as for today, readiness is about 32%. "However, we are actively working in the direction the direction of means of the local and state budgets for energy efficiency measures in the region. In particular, this year will be not less than 300 mln. at the expense of socio-economic development, Regional development Fund, grants for infrastructure development of the United territorial communities, as well as local budgets.
