Repeatedly State environmental Inspectorate in the Ternopil region drew attention to the continuing problem of the transfer of former kolkhoz forests that remain on the balance of village councils. The latter does not provide them proper use and, most importantly, protection! This situation for many years used by unscrupulous citizens, destroying the plantations. Among the latest of these cases - illegal felling of 60 trees identified On June 14, TS.g. on the territory of the settlement Council Zolotoruchka Buchach district, in the course of unscheduled inspection of operational information. This violation is committed by unidentified persons in forest plantations in the tract Malinniki. Among recorded illegally cut wood of different species, 47 of which are oaks. During check it is established that Zolotovitsky the township Council any decision or permits the cutting of the said trees was not accepted. However, adequate protection to provide not taken. The amount of damage caused to the forest due to illegal felling of trees amounted to 933 thousand UAH.
