Zhytomyr,as the Chairman of regional state administration Igor Gundich,6 in national ranking
During January-March 2017 the Zhytomyr region for the first time took 6 overall ranking among all regions of Ukraine, monitoring of socio-economic development. Compared to the corresponding period in 2016, the region has up to 5 positions. — The Chairman of regional state administration Igor Gundich said: "We started actively working on the development of the region at the end of last year. Trying to attract more investment, introduce energy efficiency measures, to deal with objects DFRR. All these areas are under personal control of Deputy Prime Minister Gennady Zubko, which gives us additional impetus and support at the same time". According to the results of quarterly assessments conducted in January-March 2017, compared with January-March 2016, the region improved its position in 5 areas. In the direction of "Economic efficiency" of the region took the 2nd place (+10 positions up). This is due to the following factors: * "Consumer price index" (1st place, +7 positions); * "Industrial production index" (1st place, +17 positions); * "The index of construction production" (2nd place, +11 positions). Overall, the achieved result will be achieved also through the following indicators: * "The growth rate of foreign direct investment" (7-8); * "The rate of decrease of the tax debt on monetary obligations of payers of taxes" (9); * "Real wage index" (8th place); * "The amount of debt on salary payment, interest to the Fund of labour payment" (2nd place); * "The turnover of road and rail transport" (3rd place); * "The share of the total capacity of boiler houses on alternative fuels in the region" (4th place); * "The percentage of households that have entered into loan agreements in the framework of support mechanisms, energy efficiency measures" (5-6).
