the Index of agricultural production in Zhytomyr region during January-may 2017 was 100.2 % – agricultural enterprises produced goods worth 1 billion 152,7 million. About this stated the head of the Department of agricultural development Ruslan Kirilyuk yesterday, June 29, during the seminar "field Day" in Lubarsky district. The head of Department of agroindustrial development of regional state administration Ruslan kyryliuk said that over the past few years, the development of the agricultural sector accompanied by a dynamic growth of production of gross output. "The index of agricultural production for January-may 2017 was 100.2 % – 9-th place among regions of Ukraine. During this period, all categories of farms produced a gross output of agriculture (production livestock industry) $ 1 billion 152,7 million, which is 1.9 million UAH more than in the corresponding period in 2016. At the same time, agricultural enterprises produced 199,9 million UAH. farms of the population – 752,8 million UAH", – said Ruslan Kyrylyuk. The participants discussed the state and prospects of development of seed-growing of agricultural crops in 2017. Also, based on EMDR "New Victory" Institute of agriculture of Polissya NAAS of Ukraine demonstrated new varieties breeding of crop species, new drugs and the protection of agricultural crops, winter crops and spring crops, modern approaches to management of seed production. Participation in the regional scientific-practical conference-seminar "field Day" was attended by the heads of district administrations, district administrations APR and the heads of base farms of the region.
