In Exactly will judge the Deputy of the local Council
Rivne local Prosecutor's office sent to court the indictment on suspicion of the Deputy of Rivne city Council, in the Commission of criminal offenses under part 2 of article 342 (resistance to the employee of law enforcement body) and part 2 of article 345 of the criminal code (violence against a law enforcement officer). Pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators SV Rivne police Department of the Main Directorate of the National police in the Rivne region for the procedural management of the panel of prosecutors of the local Prosecutor's office in Rivne. Collected in the criminal proceedings the evidence established that the Deputy of the local Council during carrying out the authorized searches by the police at a specific address in Rivne made a last resistance with the use of an object, which is a short-barrel firearm – a device (gun) model of the "WII", which is designed for shooting of the cartridges equipped with elastic shells traumatic. While in the corridor of an apartment building, the Deputy tried to prevent law enforcement officers into the apartment and, showing a gun, threatened to shoot at them. During the attempt of militiamen to stop illegal actions of the man, he fired his weapon at least 4 times. The bullets didn't hit, however, as a result of the physical struggle was suffered bodily harm of medium gravity to a police officer. Now the fate of the accused the court determines. The most severe punishment provided by law for the Commission of these crimes is deprivation of liberty for a term up to 5 years.
