Chernivtsi: the Highest rating in the case of elections of the mayor has Alex Kaspruk
For the candidacy of Alexei Kaspruk, if elections of the mayor took place in Chernivtsi on Sunday, ready to vote 46.4% of the surveyed residents of the city. Such data are published on 3 July, the organizers of a sociological study “the Chernivtsi and Chernivtsi”, which was held in Chernivtsi from 18 to 27 June 2017. According to the study, the analysis of ratings of recognition, ratings and choice ratings dislikes those people who may be potential candidates for the position of Chernivtsi mayor, shows that most of them little-known Chernivtsi, i.e. have a small rating of recognition. At the same time their electoral rating is in the range of 2 %, while antipathy is within 30 % of the recognition. With the exception of incumbent mayor Alex Kaspruk, recognition of which is 97%, the election rating is 46 %, while antipathy is 14 % and the Deputy of city Council Vitaly Myhaylishyn, recognition of which is 83 %, the electoral rating of 12 %, and the rating dislikes – 30 %. The third line of the rating took the Deputy of the faction “Hometown” Vladimir Beshley. Its level of recognition among the citizens of Chernivtsi – to 35.2%. However, only 2.1% of respondents are willing to support his candidacy in the elections of the mayor of Chernivtsi, and 10.9 per cent – under any circumstances, do not vote for its candidate in the election. On the fourth place – city Council member from the faction of “BPP “Solidarity” Andrew Romanyshyn, whose recognition rating is 22 percent. At the same time for him in the election of the mayor is ready to vote, only 1.8 percent of the surveyed residents, the rating of the candidate in mayors is 5.5 percent. The fifth line of the rating took the former head of the Department DFS in Chernivtsi region Michael Senychak. His awareness is 21.8 percent. Michael Senychak ready to support on elections of the mayor of 1.6 percent of Chernivtsi, but his rating is 5.3 percent. The head of the faction “Hometown” in the Chernivtsi city Council Vasily Sold came on the sixth place ranking from 35.8 percent recognition. On elections of the mayor ready to give him their votes 0.9% of the surveyed residents of the city, however, 13.1 percent of Chernivtsi under any circumstances for this nominee will not vote. Sociological study of “the Chernivtsi and Chernivtsi” conducted the Center for sociological research of the Philosophical-theological faculty of Chernivtsi national University named after Yuriy Fedkovych, the NGO “Institute for local self” and the Chernivtsi regional organization of society ”Knowledge” of Ukraine. The population is 190 thousand people (citizens aged 18 years and older who are entitled to vote). Sample size: 1 515 people. Sample – two-stage, stochastic, stratified; representative by age and sex. Limit the statistical sampling error (excluding design effect) is of 2.53 % at P=95%. Survey method: Personal formalized interview (“face to face”). Data collection was carried out by 43 respondents, mostly students-sociologists.
