In the Zhytomyr region, analog television will be used until July 2018
the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine prolonged the term of use of the radio analog TV 30 June 2018. The decision taken at the Cabinet meeting on 4 July 2017. The introduction of digital broadcasting was assumed by the Government in 2016. The procedure for a phased transition from analogue to digital TV should establish a national Commission exercising the state regulation of communications and Informatization. According to the NCRC, there are unresolved issues that inhibit the transition process. The Commission proposed to extend the timing of the use of analog technology for another year.
