On the implementation of the government program "Affordable medicine" which works from 1 April this year, doctors outpatient network of Chernivtsi in three months was discharged 33784 prescription for 17691 patients. Individuals who suffer from cardiovascular diseases discharged 29748 recipes patients with diabetes mellitus type II – 3347 recipes,Chernivtsi, suffering from bronchial asthma – 589 recipes. With almost 2.7 million UAH. which are allocated from the state budget to the city of Chernivtsi for the implementation this year of the program "Affordable medicine" during the first three weeks of the program used 703,2 thousand UAH. or 78% of the target. The program "Affordable drugs" in Chernivtsi provide the city polyclinic ¹ 1, ¹2 and ¹3, city children's clinic, POLICLINIC "Roche" and the POLICLINIC "Sadgora". The chief doctors of these medical institutions signed agreements with 23 pharmacies Chernivtsi branches which are located throughout the city, allowing the patients to go to the nearest pharmacy and get the prescription needed medication from cardiovascular disease, type II diabetes, and bronchial asthma for free or with little fee. The implementation of the program "Affordable medicine" is under constant control of the city health Department, which monitors the fulfillment of contracts and all appeals, citizens ' complaints about the operation of this program. Most of the complaints of inhabitants for work of the program "Affordable medicine" relate to the lack of certain medicines in the pharmacy network, due to their absence from the wholesale bases of the largest pharmaceutical companies. Cause shortages of individual drugs is a big demand for them. To address this problem, the MINISTRY of health has held meetings with representatives of pharmacy chains, distributors, importers and manufacturers to promptly respond to such technical difficulties. To help efficiently calculate the required volume of production of medicines can registry patients. So the MINISTRY together with a team of developers of "E-Health" is working on the implementation of the electronic register. Since the beginning of the program "Affordable medicine" the number of patients who began to turn to primary care physicians has nearly tripled, which solves the problem of self-medication patients and improves their health.
