In Zhytomyr region will be about 30 inclusive resource centres in which to study normal children and children with special needs. Funded centers at the expense of state subventions. This was announced by the head of the Department of education and science of the regional state administration Larisa Shevchuk, at an enlarged meeting with participation of Chairman of the Zhytomyr regional state administration Igor Gundicha. "Nclusive-resource centers should be created in the next two months for the next year to provide funding for the workers of these centers. In Zhytomyr region needs to create about 30 such centers. One centre has a capacity of about 7 thousand children", – said Larisa Shevchuk. She also added that the centers will be funded at the expense of state subventions. Local authorities have in 2 months * determine the number of children aged 0 to 18 years; * to determine with whom it is possible to unite; * to decide where to house the centre, to carry out repairs and equip; * to hold a register of specialists-suppliers of educational rehabilitative services; * to make the register of establishments, where services are provided; * apply the regional order for specialists. Children with special needs – it is not just children with disabilities. It is also children who have learning difficulties, children from ethnic minorities who do not speak the language.
