The Commission agreed on the two candidates for the title of "Honorary citizen of the city of Chernihiv"
July 31, in the Chernigov city Council, the Commission decided on the candidates for the title of "Honorary citizen of the city of Chernigov". A meeting was held with the participation of Deputy mayor Olga Honch and Sergey Fesenko. Present members of the Commission on awarding the title "Honorary citizen of the city of Chernihiv", the public and journalists listened to a biography, information about life and activity of outstanding merits of the two proposed candidates. The labor collective of the Chernihiv regional pedagogical Lyceum for gifted rural youth of Chernihiv regional Council filed a submission on conferring the title "Honorary citizen of the city of Chernihiv" (posthumously) Character, Alexander Alexandrovich – artistic Director of the Chernihiv youth folk theater "Porthole", teacher, poet, Director, member of the National Union of journalists of Ukraine. As noted by the Director of Chernihiv regional pedagogical Lyceum for gifted rural youth Anna Kolomiyets, an honorary title given to Alexander of Disposition for personal contribution and outstanding achievements in the field of culture, education, promotion of the image of the city of Chernihiv in Ukraine and abroad. In addition, Alexander donors for high achievements in the work has numerous certificates, awards and citations. The proposal to award the title "Honorary citizen of the city of Chernihiv" Pasechnik Vasily Ivanovich – doctor, Director of the regional center of social rehabilitation of disabled children "Revival" was expressed by the Chairman of the Chernihiv city public Association of disabled people "Chance" Svetlana Fedorova. According to her, the basis for the assignment of this honorary title are outstanding achievements in the field of health and social protection. Also personal contribution to the rise of the authority of Chernihiv region, including at the international level, improving the system of medical care and rehabilitation of children with disabilities Chernihiv, reducing child mortality, international cooperation in the sphere of charitable activity and humanitarian aid. On thanks to wise leadership and perseverance of Vasily Pasechnik, the city of Chernigov is one of the leading places in the system for children with developmental disabilities for comprehensive rehabilitation. All these achievements were awarded with awards and honours, including knight of the order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise IV, V degree; commemorative badge of the State service for the disabled and veterans of Ukraine "For conscientious work"; the diploma of Honorary Degree of "Doctor of medicine" from Anglia Ruskin University (UK). After hearing the biographical information of the members of the Commission unanimously voted for awarding the title "Honorary citizen of the city of Chernigov" Character, Alexander Alexandrovich and Pasechnik Vasily Ivanovich. Further appropriate decision will be approved by deputies in the plenary session of the Chernihiv city Council.
