31 July 2017 under the chairmanship of the acting’ties of the head of Uzhgorod local Prosecutor's office Michael Pantya, held a coordination meeting of heads of law enforcement agencies, which discussed the status of combating crime and disclosure of criminal offences in the jurisdiction of Uzhgorod local Prosecutor's office within 6 months of 2017, the priorities for organization activities supervised by law enforcement bodies to strengthen rule of law and protection of public order. The meeting was attended by the heads of law enforcement agencies and probation departments the area of jurisdiction of the local Prosecutor's office of Uzhgorod. Speaking, the acting’ties of the head of Uzhgorod local Prosecutor's office, provided an analysis of the state of crime in the city of Uzhgorod, Uzhgorod, Perechyn and velykobereznianskyi areas within 6 months of 2017. Thus, participants were informed that they managed to reduce the crime rate on 10 thousand of population in the city of Uzhgorod (110,6 92), Perechyn district (from 51.5 to 48.8) and Uzhgorod district (up to 60,3 66,3). Also, a positive trend of reduction of crimes against life and health’I the person, crimes against property and crimes against traffic safety and transport operation. Also, the procedural management of Prosecutor's office of Uzhgorod local in the court with the indictment is sent 434 criminal proceedings against 359 last year. 545 identified the perpetrators of criminal offences (including criminal offences from previous years)against 445ó last year. However, there is a number of problematic issues to be addressed by joint efforts. Thus, the increased heinous crimes in the city of Uzhgorod (24 to 38), Uzhgorod district (6 to 9), heavy velykobereznianskyi district (from 32 to 62), also increased is considered a minor offence. However, special attention is paid to the detection of offences, floor’connected with corruption, embezzlement of budget funds in the field of forest and land - use, timely identification and statement on the preventive account of the persons inclined to commit offences,as well as on combating illegal turnover of narcotic drugs, as these issues – one of the priorities in the activities of law enforcement officers.
