Cooperation between the Ternopil regional state administration and the Ukrainian National Minority in Serbia is quite long – 11 years. Our cooperation takes place in the framework of the existing Memorandum and it is very important that the Memorandum of understanding followed by concrete programs and real work. This said the Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Igor Vons during a meeting with a delegation from Serbia, which was represented by Miroslav kaleniuk, Stefan Semanu and Dalibor P kN. As said Igor, Vons, one of the tools for implementation of joint activities is the regional program of cooperation with foreign Ukrainians. "The desire to preserve national identity, the desire to revive the cultural treasures of the Ukrainian people was an important and positive feature of the National Council of the Ukrainian minority of Serbia, – said Igor Vons. Undoubtedly, the National Council of the Ukrainian minority has managed to unite the Ukrainians, who despite the geographical distance ready for consolidation and mutual aid. We highly appreciate the current level of cooperation and genuine good-neighborly relations, and in continue to make every effort to make our partnership has grown stronger and developed to traditions of Ukrainian culture in Serbia are not forgotten, and grow new projects, and close ties milulski, because this is an important partnership!" Deputy Chairman of regional state administration noted the importance of already implemented joint projects, namely: the permanent participation of the delegation of the Ternopil region in the Festival of Ukrainian culture "Kalina", the rest and recreation of children of military families region that are members of ATO. "Given the mutual interest in expanding bilateral cooperation with the National Council of the Ukrainian minority in Serbia we can move on to economic cooperation. Incidentally, during the meeting the parties discussed possible areas of cooperation. Organization of rest and improvement of children of military families in the region; organization of Days of Ternopil region in Serbia, which provides cultural, educational, economic activities and the presentation of the region. This presentation, by the way, for the second time took place in Kiev. Another important area of cooperation, according to Deputy Chairman of regional state administration, the participation of Amateur collectives of the Ukrainian national minority of Serbia in festivals that occur in the region, in particular, the festival of folk crafts, folklore and choreography "Bells of Lemko", "borshevskaya embroidered", "Ternopil charms", Festivals, castles and the like, as well as the organization of participation of the delegation of the interested businessmen of Ternopil oblast in the Ukrainian-Serbian business forum and the national exposition of our country at the International agricultural fair in Novi Sad.
