Article 9 of the aforementioned Law established that in 2016 the subsistence minimum (guaranteed minimum) for assigning assistance in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On state social assistance to needy families" in relation to the subsistence minimum for basic social and demographic groups makes: for able-bodied persons - 21%, for children - 85 percent, for persons unable to work, and disabled 100 percent of the respective subsistence minimum. The size of state social assistance to low-income families in 2016 may not be more than 75 percent of the subsistence minimum for the family.
