the national Bank of Ukraine of 5 January 2016 puts into circulation two commemorative coins with face value 5 UAH of Nickel silver and 20 grivnas of silver. About it reports a press-service of the NBU. According to the NBU, the mintage of the coin is 50 thousand and 3 thousand respectively. On the coin of Nickel silver on a Matt background there is a relief image of a swallow on the background of the sheets, on the reverse a group of carolers that sing, one of them holding the Christmas star, on which the inscription - shchedryk, shchedryk, sekiwake. Silver coin decorated with a blue precious stone (cubic zirconium oxide with a diameter of 2.0 mm) and a multi-colored holographic image. On the obverse within a circle of beads depicted the star of Christmas, the carolers, between the rays of the star - three bells. On the reverse is placed the composition, which is divided into two parts stylized musical line from "Shchedryk", at the top of the portrait of Mykola Leontovych with a baton in his right hand, the left hand of the composer a swallow sits on the right - the inscription Mykola Leontovich; the left of the portrait on the background of concentric circles, symbolizing the sound of music, the center of which the insertion of cubic Zirconia, the inscription shchedryk; bottom "Carol of the bells" on the background color holographic circles depict calls.
