In Zhytomyr region the work of the centres does not stop SSDM
For information Zhytomyr regional center SSDM in the past year, social support centers SSDM were 194 foster families and 36 children's homes of family type, including one children's home of family type, who arrived from the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region, raising 616 children-orphans, children deprived of parental care. To support families with children, including families of participants of anti-terrorist operation, SSDM distributed promotional materials: booklets "State aid to families for child birth", "State assistance for single mothers", "To help the families of members of the antiterrorist operation". Equally important is an information campaign "Take a child to the family", which is held at regional, city and district centers SSDM. It aims to support national adoption and other forms of family upbringing of orphans and children deprived of parental care. On the basis of the regional center SSDM conducted three rounds of training of candidates for adoptive parents, foster parents, guardians, Trustees. They were attended by 11 families and 6 people – candidates for the creation of foster families, family type children's homes, 20 people – candidates for the creation of families, guardians. A priority direction of work of social services with families, young people and children who have arrived from the temporarily occupied territories and districts of the antiterrorist operation. Social services representatives of the centers SSMD provided 1,100 individuals and families 1769, which brought 2328 children in this category.
