Consideration of requests for information in the Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region for the year 2015
On the implementation of paragraph 10 of part 1 of article 15 of the Law of Ukraine «On access to public information," the Prosecutor's office summarized the status of pending requests for information. The head of Department of organization of reception of citizens, consideration of complaints and requests of the regional Prosecutor's office Vita Waqar, said that in bodies of Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region during 2015, there have been 236 requests for information, which considered - 196, 39 is directed to the proper managers. The prosecution offices at the district level reviewed 79 requests. Upon review of 134 information requests provides information that rose’explained the requirements of the law by results of consideration of 53 requests, in 9 cases in the provision of information is denied, in particular, in 2, on pre-trial investigation, 4 - HR, 1 - on issues about the provision of statistical information. The requested information pertained to pre-trial investigation - 52, organizational and administrative activities - 20, HR - 40, on representation of interests of citizens and state in court - 7 and the maintenance of public prosecutions in court - 4. Most requests were received from citizens – 78. From media received 14 inquiries from public organizations - 4, from other legal entities - 7. A significant number of requests were received in the Prosecutor's office by e-mail – 71, postal—connection received 10 requests, personally – 2. The prosecutors region will continue to provide access to public information legislation in certain limits.
