Rivne region: the rescuers reinforce prophylactic-explanatory work in the residential sector by teaching people fire safety rules and safety at the place of residence
From year to year with the onset of cold weather, the citizens are beginning to make wider use heating devices to warm their dwellings. It was during this period significantly increases the likelihood of fires occurring in the residential sector, because the natural desire of people to raise the temperature in your own home results in not always healthy electroball appliances and devices stoves. As a consequence, this leads to the occurrence of fires, which usually end in the best case, loss of wealth, and at worst injury or even death. From the beginning of 2016 in Rivne region occurred 29 fires, the fire was discovered 2 dead, nearly 100% of the total number of fires fire occurred in the residential sector. Statistics show that the dominant cause of fires remains the human factor. Banal human negligence in dealing with fire, often in a drunken state, should the people not only to significant material losses and health’I, and sometimes the most valuable - life. So given the situation with the rapid increase in the occurrence of fires in Rivne region rescuers to prevent the occurrence of fires, the prevention of death and traumatizing of people on them in the winter fire season, strenuously conduct preventive roses’explanatory work with inhabitants of the province of the place of residence. First of all RAID groups in which rescuers are attracted to law enforcement, social workers, government authorities and local self-government, visit the homes of socially vulnerable population and those that are included in the so-called "risk groups", namely: the elderly, single parents, large families and dysfunctional families, and those who abuse alcohol. Because this category of the population the issue of ensuring fire safety of premises, repairs of electrical equipment and the heating furnace are not in the first place, and statistics show that most fires occur in such buildings. In particular such 5 January RAID group conducted a comprehensive preventive working off the village. Customers of citizens at the place of residence, employees of service of rescue "101" outlined in detail the main risk factors that can lead to fires in dwellings. Communicating with parents and their children related to fire protection, lifeguards reminded parents not to leave their kids unattended, because their curiosity and desire for new discoveries can turn into a dangerous game and cause a fire. The participants of the RAID drew the attention of the citizens that the victims of their own addictions often become smokers, especially those who used to smoke in bed and noted that this factor usually leads to tragedy and causes significant damage. All citizens who called for the RAID group were provided with advice on the rules of fire safety and life safety, and handed pam’memos related to fire protection with the above preventive measures. The residents thanked the visitors for their informative talks and promised that they would spare no effort in their apartments there was no trouble.
