In Transcarpathia drunk driver made a fatal road accident
9 January, around 17:40 in sec.Yanoshi, in Beregovo, there was a road accident. The driver of the car "Volkswagen Passat", lost control, hit a 27-year-old cyclist. From his injuries, the bicyclist died at the scene. Yesterday at 17:40 on line 102 received a message from the dispatcher of Beregovo Central hospital that in yanoshi an accident where there are victims. The staff investigative group established that 27-the summer driver of the car "Volkswagen Passat", a resident of S. V. Bhakta, at high speed moving in the direction of shore, not lost control and hit a 27-year-old cyclist, a resident of the village of yanoshi, which moved in the passing direction. From his injuries, the bicyclist died on the spot. An examination showed that the driver of the car was in a state of intoxication: the alcohol level in the blood is 2.1 ppm. On this fact initiated criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 286 (Violation of traffic safety or transport operation by persons which operate the vehicle) the Criminal code of Ukraine. For Commission of this crime punishment in the form of imprisonment for the term from three till eight years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years or without such.
