Zhytomyr region celebrates the birthday of Sergei Korolev.

January 12, Zhytomyr region celebrates the 109th birthday of the fellow countryman – Sergei Pavlovich Korolev. At 10 a.m. in the square named after S. P. Korolev hosted the ceremony of laying flowers to the monument of the famous scientist. The celebration was attended by Deputy Chairman of Zhytomyr regional state administration Yaroslav Laguta, first Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Volodymyr Screen, State representatives of space agencies, guests from Lithuania, the public.
