Lutsk: the activities that will be financed through loan from NEFCO in the educational institutions of the city
In 2016 Lutsk city Council for co-financing and in cooperation with the Nordic environment Finance Corporation NEFCO will be implemented the project "Increasing energy efficiency for public sector institutions in Lutsk city", whose goal is the introduction of a complex of energy saving activities aimed at reduction of volumes of consumption of thermal and electric energy and reducing the cost of providing public sector institutions the energy. The total investment will amount to 17 thousand UAH 782,56. Net savings after the implementation of the project will be 548,11 2 thousand UAH/year. The payback period is about 7 years. In the framework of this project envisages conduction of a complex of works aimed at: - restore the standard level of illumination in the premises of the educational institutions through modernization of lighting systems with the installation of modern led lamps; - improving the efficiency of heating systems through the establishment of individual heating units and the replacement/repair of thermal insulation of pipelines; - improvement of thermal performance of building envelopes through the implementation of activities on thermal modernization of buildings. The project will be implemented in the following educational establishments of Lutsk: Preschool institution ¹ 4; Preschool institution ¹ 13; Preschool institution ¹ 27; Preschool institution ¹ 31; Lutsk gymnasium ¹ 21. Michael Kravchuk; Lutsk specialized school of I-III stages ¹ 1; Lutsk specialized school of I-III levels ¹ 16; Palace of studying youth. Project activities: Modernization of the lighting system; The installation of individual heat substations; Replacement/repair of thermal insulation of pipelines; Thermal modernization of external walls; Replacement Windows, exterior entrance and balcony doors; Thermo-modernization of the roof; Thermal modernization of the covering of the passage. All facilities, except the Gymnasium ¹21, the project includes replacement of about 1430 lamps to modern energy-efficient led total cost 549,74 thousand UAH., setting five individual heat points in DOW ¹4, ¹27, ¹31, school ¹16 and in the Palace of students that is 1 241,24 thousand UAH., replacement and restoration of thermal insulation of pipes in 4 DOE totaling 297,33 thousand UAH., insulation walls 9 992 m2 for a total amount of 8 591,53 thousand UAH., replacement of Windows and exterior doors to energy efficient with a total area of 832 m2 $ 2 002,86 thousand UAH., insulation 7 964 m2 of roof in the amount of 5016,62 thousand UAH., and also the thermal modernization of 104 m2 floors over the passage in the Gymnasium ¹21, which will cost 83,24 thousand UAH. Environmental effect from the project: scope of CO2 emission reduction will exceed 516 T. The list of activities is available here.
