Violations of nuclear and radiation safety of the region revealed no
North-West state inspection on nuclear and radiation safety of SNRCU, as a territorial body of the State nuclear regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine, provides implementation of state policy in the sphere of usage of nuclear energy in the North-Western regions: Volyn, Rivne, Ternopil and Khmelnitsky regions. As of 31.12.2015, 57 subjects of economic activity of the Ternopil region have been working to use IRS on the basis of licenses issued by the Agency for state regulation of nuclear and radiation safety North-Western state inspection. During the reporting period the North-Western state Inspectorate considered the application on 11 subjects Ternopil region for the issuance and amendments to existing licenses for certain activities in the field of nuclear energy utilization – use RS. Upon review of the declarations submitted by the License Commission of the North-Western state Inspectorate adopted a positive decision on the amendments to operating licenses the following institutions: – Municipal Buchach Central district hospital; Communal Monastic institution of the district Council "Monastic district territorial medical Association"; – Municipal establishment of Ternopil regional Council "Ternopil regional territorial medical Association"; – Municipal establishment of Ternopil regional Council "Chortkiv regional TB dispensary"; And Zboriv Central district hospital; – Establishment of Ternopil oblast Council "Selimica regional municipal TB hospital"; – Podwoloczyska municipal Central hospital, Ternopil oblast; – Society with limited liability "PATENTED". Towards the implementation of the state supervision of observance by subjects of hozyaystvennogo.moy the North-West region of the current legislation of Ukraine, norms, rules and standards on nuclear and radiation safety and terms of licenses for certain activities in the field of nuclear energy, North-Western state Inspectorate for IV quarter of 2015 was held on 7 planned and 1 unplanned inspection. According to the results of the oversight activities was composed of 8 acts and 2 is given orders to eliminate detected violations and imposed an administrative penalty of 1 business entity in the field of nuclear energy. Violations of nuclear and radiation safety when implementing activities on the use of IRS actors Ternopil region, which has led or could lead to unauthorised exposure to radiation or radioactive contamination of the natural environment, in the fourth quarter of this year was not revealed.
