In the Transcarpathian region Prosecutor's office initiated criminal proceedings on the materials published in mass media concerning the alleged bribery of employees of GAI
Investigative Department of Prosecutor's office of the Transcarpathian region included the information in ERDR and started pre-trial investigation under part 3 of article 368 UK of Ukraine (obtaining undue advantage by an official) on materials published in mass media concerning the alleged bribery of employees of GAI. During the monitoring of the media by the Prosecutor's office identified the material under "the Bribery of the Zakarpattia "police" on the police post in the village of Big Kopana filmed in a long time (VIDEO)" View the video from the website, installed, that it really is recorded when a driver allegedly passed to the traffic police funds, however, to verify this information is possible only by the pre-trial investigation. Therefore, due to the fact that information in electronic media contains enough data, which may indicate the Commission of a criminal offence, the prosecution amended the information in ERDR and started investigation. Reference: part 3 of article 368 UK of Ukraine - acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of unlawful benefit by an official is punishable by deprivation of liberty for a period from n’five to ten years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years, with confiscation of property.
