Volyn region: rescuers carry out fire-preventive working off of inhabited sector
when the cold weather increases the number of fires. The main cause of fires in private homes is a violation of safety rules at operation of oven heating. This is evidenced by statistics, disappointing figures which are trying to counteract in the Volyn region. To protect the life and property of citizens from fire element, 14 January the employees of the Stone-Kashirsky district Department DSNS in Volyn region organized and conducted a fire-preventive working off of settlements Polish village Council. The civil defense specialists visited the private homes of citizens and rose’explained the rules of fire safety in the autumn-winter period, taught how to act in case of fire or other emergency event. During routine conversations, the rescuers focused on compliance with safety requirements when using an open fire, operation of furnaces, gas equipment and electrical equipments. Special attention was paid to people who are in difficult life conditions and need for social support: low-income, elderly and lonely, seven large ' pits. For better absorption of the information, the rescue workers "101" was presented to the people themed cards with safety rules.
