Chernivtsi region: rescuers reminded the citizens how to prevent fires
From the beginning of the year in the Chernivtsi region was 42 fire, which killed 1 person. More than 85 % of fires occurred in homes of Bukovina, and the main causes of this problem is the disregard or violation of fire safety rules by the people. Therefore, to prevent the occurrence of fires in homes of citizens and reminding the countrymen of the importance of the everyday observance of safety rules, employees of management of SSES of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region carry out information and rose’annual raids preventive measures, during which the rescuers communicate with people and remind them of safety rules. So, on January 13 this RAID was carried out by employees Kitsmansky district Department of SSES. Rescuers carried out this work in Kitsman and Lasko in the village of Kitsmansky area. Since a significant portion of fires occur in homes of socially vulnerable population, rescue workers during a RAID focused specifically to the elderly, lonely people and needy inhabitants. Bukovina reminded of the basic rules of fire safety that should be followed in everyday life, presented pam’leaflets and handbooks with the rules of fire safety. During the RAID rescuers visited about 50 homes and talked with almost 150 persons. In addition, carrying out raids in the residential sector are active rescuers rose’outreach and in places with mass stay of people. So, January 13 employees of the Chernivtsi city Department Management of state emergency service held a rose’annual talks on observance of safety rules with the managers and employees of the Chernivtsi city polyclinic ¹ 3 and the teachers and pupils of secondary school ¹ 22. In the course of conducting information and rose’outreach to reach as many people as possible, rescuers organized placement of social advertising leaflets in under’the entrances of apartment houses, schools and places with mass stay of people.
