In the Zhytomyr region, rural communities can receive grants for social projects
Fund "Monsanto" announced the beginning of the next round of reception of proposals for social projects for rural communities community organizations, will run from 1 January until 29 February 2016. In Ukraine, the Fund "Monsanto" takes the project proposals to provide grants in the following areas: * Providing basic education support designed to improve education in rural communities, including through support of schools, libraries, research centers, training programmes for farmers and academic programs that enrich or Supplement school programs. * Ensuring critical community needs through the development of food security, sanitation, access to clean water, public safety and various other local needs. The Fund accepts applications from January 1 until February 29, 2016. To receive an invitation to apply, you need form at the address www.monsantofund.org/about/contact/ send description of the organization and a brief description of the project in English. If the Fund "Monsanto" will be interested to support the project, the representative of the organization will provide the invitation code. All grant applications and all required documents must be submitted online and must be translated into English. The minimum grant amount that can be granted is 25 thousand dollars. Projects must not have any connection with a commercial activity of the company "Monsanto". The project activity can be calculated for the period up to 12 months. Applicants must be registered for at least two years before applying. Applicants must provide proof of recent external audit of the organization's finances according to international standards.
