Kerry thanked Iran for release of American sailors

US Secretary of state John Kerry thanked Iran for cooperation in the release of 10 detained American sailors. It is reported . «I Want to Express my appreciation to the Iranian authorities for their cooperation in quickly resolving this issue. Peaceful and effective resolved is evidence that the role of diplomacy is a key», – Kerry said on 13 January. Earlier on Wednesday, influential in Iran the Islamic revolutionary guard Corps, known in the West as "Revolutionary guard", fired 10 American sailors detained in Iranian waters. In Iran reported that the mariners ’ dev’five men and one woman – were released after it was determined that their actions were newmissile. The commander of the naval forces guard, rear Admiral Ali Fadavi said earlier that «American sailors were in Iranian territorial waters after a mechanical problem in the navigation system". U.S. officials say the two sailors and their boats were detained on 12 January after one of the ships during the training there were technical problems.
