Preparing for spring in Zhytomyr region continues
On the monitoring results as of 12 January 2016 from available in all categories of farms of 138.5 thousand ha of winter crops sprouts obtained on the square 138,1 thousand hectares (100%) of them are in good condition on the area of 73,7 hectares (53% of obtained shoots), in satisfactory – 56,1 thousand hectares (41%), 8.7 thousand hectares (6%) in weak and liquefied state. In addition, from 19.5 thousand hectares of winter rape are in good condition crops on the area of 7,4 thousand hectares (38%), satisfactory at 8.2 thousand hectares (42%), in weak and liquefied in the area of 3.9 thousand hectares (20%). In the management of agroindustrial development of regional state administration held a working meeting with the operators-suppliers of mineral fertilizers and plant protection products. The meeting was attended by heads and specialists of the phytosanitary service and the scientists of the Institute of agriculture Polissya. It is noted that in the agricultural companies of the region carried out work on preparation for carrying out of spring field works. For sowing spring crops the farms of the region acquired 28.9 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers in physical weight (24%) and 88,0 tons of plant protection products (15%), including 7.3 tons of seed disinfectants (27%).
