For the improper protection of forest resources by forest enterprise in Transcarpathia illegally felled trees
Transcarpathian district administrative court has agreed with arguments of Prosecutor's office of area and upheld the act of inspection of environmental inspections on which forest enterprise is assessed damages in the amount of about 130 thousand UAH., for the allowed violations of the forest legislation and the improper performance of duties’responsibilities for the protection of forest resources that has led to illegal felling of trees. The Prosecutor's office entered into consideration of the case by the court, because the dispute is an appeal against the forestry act, the environmental Inspectorate, which was the reason for the appeal of the Prosecutor with the claim about collecting of the losses caused by environmental environmental environment and suspended until resolution of the dispute. After the entry of the judgment into legal force, the Prosecutor's office will initiate the renewal of proceedings to address the issue about collecting of the caused environmental damage.
