Why vocational schools Zhitomir do not include to a network?
January 16, in the regional state administration held a meeting on the financing of vocational education institutions under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yaroslav Laguta and with the participation of representatives of the Zhytomyr city Council. On the territory of the city of Zhitomir is situated 10 vocational schools, which, according to article 27 of the Law of Ukraine "On State budget of Ukraine for 2016", is now moving to funding from the city budget. However, Zhytomyr – one of the few cities of regional importance, which does not include these schools to the network. In Zhytomyr, the budget includes funding for vocational schools, however, lacks a developed mechanism and legislative framework, to take them to the educational network of the city. "We can't now explain to teachers and students, what are the problems and shortcomings. The learning process should go smoothly and people get their wages and stipends", said Yaroslav Laguta.
